A talk on ECZEMA- A trending topic

Oviously, this post is different from my blog. As a human who has serious atopic eczema (Take note that there are different forms of eczema types) since she was in her toodler state till today, eczema has been an irritaing and infurating illness in my life. Apart from the constant itching and pain caused by stress, allergies and sensitivity, there are many negative remarks that were made to people who has this illness. I have to say, living with such condition isn't a pleasant thing and to be confident about. People would usually judge us as an unhygenic and disgusting creature. Yes, my close friends did hurt me by saying eczema was gross and it was contagious (they didn't know I have) , until I ranted on my spam in IG. NO! ECZEMA IS NOT CONTAGIOUS! Regardless of the types of eczema, they are all NOT contagious and are not easily spreadable.

Eczema occurs on a person thru genetic genes, allergies or sensitivity. People who lives with eczema has to apply the right medication day and night to prevent further seriousness on their conditions. Usually, some would wear long sleeved shirts or long pants to prevent bacteria in the atmosphere to come in contact with their affected zones. For me, I have to airdry my affected areas. As you can see from the pictures above, they were pictures taken a few months before when I had a serious dermatitis. Honestly, it's disturbing to analyse the pictures and gross too. Oh wells, we have to live with it throughout our entire life. "Till death do us apart".

At least, having eczema helps to prevent skin cancer. I don't know why and how but you may ask the doctors or Google. Base on my conclusion, I suppose it is because our skin is way too sensitive and over-reacts easily.

I hope people in this society would treat people who has eczema as friends and not some kind of alien in this planet. There are at least 10%---20% of infants and 3% of adults and children in the U.S. that are affected by eczema. Now, multiply by 6 (by continents). That's a hell lot of people in the world that are affected.
